Travis places a high value on hard work and discipline; learned from an early age during the time at his family’s business, this mindset overflows into all areas of his life. A family man, married to his lovely wife Julia for 10 years, they share a life and house filled with laughter and chaos. Mainly from their two daughters Josephina Avarie and Trulie Elise; a wild crew that rarely sleeps but has a heartwarming kindness, joy and sweetness that makes life worth living.  

Travis has been happily serving the members and staff of Saint Mark since the summer of 2022, he states that this job and church has been used by God to bless his family in more ways than one. While Travis is now the head over building maintenance, he is still eager to help in any way necessary to help the church thrive. 

Living up to his nickname as "the human Swiss Army knife”; Travis serves multiple roles at the church. Since the beginning of 2026 Travis began serving as one of two worship leaders at Saint Mark Northport for the Contemporary service.
